Clinical Decision-Making and Self-Efficacy Skills in Anesthesiology Nursing Students: A Cross-Sectional Study

Background: Clinical decision-making and self-efficacy are essential parts of nurses' professional work, which includes information analysis, proper implementation decisions in the clinical field. Objectives: The present study investigated perspectives anesthesia nursing students on skills. Methods: This cross-sectional was done 70 undergraduate at Jundishapur University Medical Sciences Ahvaz, Iran, 2021, who were recruited through census method. required data collected using a questionnaire containing demographics, decision-making, performance. analyzed SPSS 16 chi-square test, Mann-Whitney U Kruskal Wallis test statistical significance 0.05. Results: Mean age 21.70 ± 1.06 years. median score all students' perceptions 66.5 6. Moreover, 60% had weak perception (systematic analytical). 87.50 22. Also, 51.4% moderate level self-efficacy. Conclusions: There is insufficient among Ahvaz. Therefore, it recommended to pay more attention curricula educational programs order promote perceptions.
